The Ali-50cm telescope, granted by the Beijing Planetarium from Beijing Academy of Science and Technology performs both astronomy research and public outreach functions. It locates at Ngari region of Tibet PRC. It is a 20-inch reflecting telescope and a 22.5mm * 22.5mm CMOS camera available. The 5σ magnitude limits are expected to be g'<20 in single images.
